The Quran uses the word for "man" and "woman" exactly the same number of times.

Not approximately equal, exactly equal. Three completely different counting methods all confirm the same perfect balance. The most precise method lands on a number with a biological meaning that wasn't discovered until 1,323 years later.

"A man owned by quarreling partners" and "a man belonging entirely to one master" two parallel illustrations of the same conceptual role (the owned), plus one for the master. Three appearances, two roles.
